I know this isn't "Jewish" but it is disability related. I met with a few adults with Spina Bifida today and we decided to form a group which will hold monthly meetings. We decided on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 1-3pm. If you are interested in this please contact me.

The building of the mishkan in the desert required gifts and efforts of all of B’nai Yisrael, but each according to his or her individual abilities and means. Jewish Disability Month Date Set at Adath Jeshurun
On February 27, 2010, the Inclusion committee at Adath Jeshurun will participate in Jewish Disability Awareness Month. We haven't finalized any details yet but at least we have a date on the calendar.
The Adult Education Committee is going to ask to do a an event in their sampler on employment and disability issues. More information to come.
